Our deep tissue massage technique focuses on healing the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This type of massage is very effective in treating chronic pain and relieving areas of the body where tension builds up, such as the neck, shoulders and back.
Your therapist will apply sustained pressure with slow, deep strokes that penetrate to the lower layers promoting healing and providing ongoing relief from chronic discomfort.
With trigger point therapy your massage therapist applies focused pressure to specific areas of your body known as trigger points. This more targeted therapy helps to relieve knots, tension and pain in areas of the body that need it.
Trigger point therapy is great when you’re experiencing pain or tension, chronic or acute, in specific areas of the body, including referred pain, or pain that seems to radiate from affected trigger points.
This targets the connective tissue surrounding your muscles and organs, or fascia in your body. The therapist uses gentle and sustained pressure to release restrictions in the fascia and restore balance to the body. Myofascial release is great for people experiencing chronic pain.
When using stretching in your remedial massage, your therapist will assist you to stretch targeted muscles. The goal here is to enhance your flexibility and range of motion, prevent muscle stiffness, support better posture and help you maintain an active and pain-free lifestyle.
